TRAINING OVERVIEW
YMHFA is a nationally validated training that covers information on mental health literacy, adolescent development, anti-stigma messaging and a 5 step process to support youth with a mental health crisis and suicidality.
Adults working with youth aged 12-25 will learn the signs of a mental health crisis and have the information to refer to outside resources. This course is perfect for teachers, aids, bus drivers, youth work professionals, coaches, juvenile justice workers, employers of youth, faith-based communities and youth organizations.
YMHFA is currently offered as a virtual training that includes 2 hours pre-work online, and 5.5 hours of live online training.
